Just under seven years 91, now 5.5 years “legacy cargo”.
Loved my 91 job but I’d never go back to it voluntarily...too much risk, too little career and fiscal upside.
Boring is good, go buy an RV8 or Citabria if you need to be excited.

I understand what you’re perceiving to be boredom...corporate was all about the layover. I had tons of fun times on my corporate layovers and always looked forward to the next trip. Now I am all about the home time. Pick up some new hobbies, pay more attention to your wife/kids/friends/etc. You should be on the road wanting to go home, not the other way around.

Your phone will be ringing with offers—the open job listings is long.
A friend was a military technician, got hired at DL, years ago. Crew Sked called him on reserve with a trip, he counteroffers with, “how bout the next day, kids ball game tomorrow”. Next was a meeting in the office and down the road he went. He said he was happy with it.
To the OP, do what you enjoy, life’s too short to be bored, money isn’t everything. But it can buy lots of good stuff.
