B737/BBJ

Hi All - There’s an entity out there looking for a 737/BBJ Capt. offering $100-120k/year. Now that the gales of laughter have died down, what is the realistic number in 2023 for that and a F/O? I assume it won’t be as high as that for the Big Three (AA, DL, UA). Thx.

PIC? Minimum 300K. If they can’t afford to pay a reasonable salary for the work you’ll be doing from start to finish… tell them to sell the jet. You can earn more money flying a Honda Jet or Phenom with a starting salary of 170K with much less hassle.

A friend of mine just got a restricted ATP 737NG rating. He only has 1,600 hours, all FW. How big is the market for FO's in the BBJ world? Does Boeing generate leads to fill those seats, in order to sell the air frames?

According to Bizjetjobs, which basically mirrors the NBAA salary survey, a 737/BBJ rates are:

Low: $206K
Avg: $262K
High: $317K
