Looking for Citation pay info
What could a part 91 CE-501 single pilot expect in the first year? Looking in the upper midwest. Anyone with experience in the 501SP care to share their thoughts on flying one?

I don't have single pilot experience in the 501SP, but I have extensive experience in 500 series Citations, including a 501SP, and single-pilot King Air time, which is a very similar environment to the single-pilot Citation environment.
It's a good honest airplane that is easy to fly and has pretty simple systems and quite a bit of system automation. Very docile handling characteristics and a good safety record. It's a pretty reliable aircraft, too. It can still be a busy cockpit in a high workload environment, though. I wouldn't want to be a single-pilot jet driver in the Northeast corridor, SoCal, or southern Florida if I had a choice. |
Thanks for the quick response! Very helpful.

FUN & Easy To fly single pilot, lots less hassle hauling around an extra person and bags lots easier for local day trips. Once you get used to it , easy as pie
