Default Corporate to line

I saw three corporate pilots in a new hire class this past summer.

I know for many years one could work as a corporate pilot for FedEx for "X" number of years and you would automatically be given opportunity to interview for the cargo ops - but I had heard they closed this door (sounds like maybe I heard wrong).

Three guys from FedEx corporate aviation were in the new hire class? Or just 3 corporate pilots in general?

Default Corp pilots

They came from FedEx corp flight department. When you look at the new hire class pictures, they used their corporate photo. I also bumped into one of them in the hallway leading to the FTD.

With respect that is not what a pilot told me when I talked to him last month. It's a 2 or 3 year commitment. They would love for them to stay but is not held against you. Even if you interview and don't make the line.

Any idea on what pay is or where and when you can find when corporate positions open up?

Thanks
