Does anyone have any info on Johnson & Johnson's flight department? What type of aircraft do they have, where are they located, minimums to apply, pay and benefits etc... Thanks in advance!

Thats SC Johnson (Johnson Wax) in Racine. I think he's referring to Johnson and Johnson (Medical).

I did not see anything on the NBAA site regarding Johnson and Johnson.

Thank you for the J&J contact info. I'm looking at retiring from the military in the near future and relocating back to NJ and was looking at all my flight job options in the area. Not sure if I want to fly for the airlines or try and find a corporate job. I understand that getting your foot in the door in the corporate world is difficult. Do you have any suggestions as to how to find out what might be available in corporate aviation in NJ? Thanks again for your response.

The good thing is that you are moving back to an area with an abundance of corporate flight departments if you count all of the satellite airports in the NY/NJ area. TEB, MMU, TTN, HPN, SWF, have many flight departments. My best suggestion is to go out and knock on doors, make friends, and NETWORK. Corporate jobs do not come to you, you come to them.

Also, you would be in a prime area to work for ALL of the fractional operators (Net Jets, FlexJet, Citation Shares, etc.) I think you would have no problem picking up your fractional tour out of TEB or HPN. I would be putting in your applications with all of the fractionals RIGHT NOW is you plan on leaving Uncle Sam within the next six months.

Opportunities in that location would appear to be very good for the airlines as well...JFK and EWR pretty much have new hire domicles written all over them.

Having a military retirement and TriCare definitely sweetens the pot!

Good luck!
