Position: Florida Power & Light Company is accepting resumes for a
highly motivated Dual Rated Jet/Helicopter Captain. This full time
position is corporate part 91 located in West Palm Beach, FL.

Professional Pilot Skills and Qualifications:

Interested Candidates should have the following MINIMUM qualifications:
FAA Airline Transport Pilot Multi-Engine Land with Commercial Rotorcraft Helicopter.

5000 hours total time
3000 hours fixed wing turbine flight time
2000 PIC hours
1000 hours turbine rotorcraft
FAA First Class Medical

Preference will be given to candidates with the following:
Citation 560XL or Agusta A109E experience
CFI/CFII
College Degree

Position Overview: As Pilot-In-Command, skillfully operate jet
aircraft and helicopters to safely and efficiently transport
passengers to scheduled destinations. Oversee care and safety of assigned aircraft while away from base. Assist passengers with various needs as they apply to a scheduled flight. Complete collateral duties and special aviation projects when not flying. Demonstrated professionalism,
teamwork and flexibility. Minimum of five years accident free flying
highly desired. Reports to Assistant Chief Pilot.

Suprised they don't require Space Shuttle time.

I hope the salary is around 6 digits, otherwise I doubt they'll find anyone.

They want more than just a CRJ F/O with 250 hrs. Actually looks like a typical corp. job ad.

Okay......so the 3000 fixed-wing turbine I can understand but 1000 rotor turbine in addition.

How many pilots you know with that kind of experience? Turbine rotor time is hard to come by unless you're military from what I understand.

Just leaves you to wonder what "competitive salary" is for a position with those kind of reqs.

Actually I know a lot of guys with those quals. But I also know they wont leave their current position.
