geosynchronous,
Do you fly for CVS? If so, could you give me more information (Days on, days off, pay, benifits...), it would be very helpful.
Thanks

No, I don't fly for them.

I would make a reasonable assumption that the pay, benefits, scheduling practice, relative job stability and security here would probably be pretty decent for a large retail pharmaceutical company's flight department.

Drop .41 and send them a resume', or better yet, put on a shirt and tie, go knock on their door, shake hands with the chief pilot and let them associate a face with the resume'! If you only meet an office person/scheduler, treat him/her as if they were the president of the company. These jobs are attainable through good networking and persistence.

I can tell you that the average Part 91 Citation X CA pay is $102,000, and the average F/O pay is $70.000; (June 2007 Pro Pilot, pp. 102) if this helps. No clue on what CVS actually pays.

Good luck!

I do know that CVS has never hired from a resume. Any pilot they have hired has been a friend on a current pilot.

Is CVS's corporate flight dept based out of Providence?

geosynchronous 01-23-2008 04:34 AM

Yes it is.

Hi Geo...
Are you based in PVD? What other operators are there?

geosynchronous 01-28-2008 03:36 AM

No, not based there, just seem to fly in to PVD a lot lately. Not too sure about other corporate operators there....Info is from NBAA directory.

Hi Geo
How did you know this..."They have four Citation X's and one VII. One X is based in BNA (Caremark)." That is not common knowledge.
