3m Info?
 

Anyone have any insight into 3M Flight Ops? Been on the website several times over the past year, no postings. Is it all word of mouth, internal recs or do they just not post positions very often if at all? Also if there is anyone reading who works for 3M I have a few more specific questions.

I've heard that 3M is one of the difficult flight departments to get on with.

This is an understatement.

They will have one opening in 2010 (last round of interviews, everyone had a minimum of a Master's degree and a G-V type) and the next will not be until 2020 unless there's a death or sudden medical retirement.

Toured the facility many times, great operation they have there. Everyone I have talked to said, they really really like to hire military pilots. One Year, one of the pilots they were interviewing was an Ex Air Force One Capt. Good Luck with 3M, they are def a very difficult company to get into!
