looking for info on what companies have planes based in seattle/renton/boeing field/tacoma/whatever.
interested in company names and the planes they fly.
where do i start?
anyone on this board flying out of that area?
how do you get info on boeing or ms flight departments?
heard the nordstroms fly out of tacoma or something.

Just start knocking on hangers and pass out your resume everywhere. You might also try PDX. Oregon because of tax reasons is really good place to base corporate jets. Seattle's a great place to live, but almost no movement.

I'll throw in a couple. Weyerhaeuser has 3 falcon 50s based at Seatac(Signature). Vulcan is Paul Allen's company based at Boeing Field, a 757, global, helicopters, etc. If you really want to see something cool do a search for Vulcan Warbirds Inc on the faa website to see Mr. Allen's impressive collection of vintage warbirds.

Costco has a GV and a Challenger, I see them at BFI, RNT, and PAE all the time. Paul Allen's BFI hangar has 2 757's, a Global, a GIV, Twotter on Amphibs, Challenger, and some helicopter. Nordstrom has a challenger at BFI, Bill Gates keeps his Global at BFI, a big engineering company (forget their name right now) has a GV at BFI. MSFT does not have a flight department.
If you want to fly corporate floats, usually Beavers, most of those guys are out of RNT.
Like Ziggy says, little to no movement at the corporate gigs, just like QX in the airlines.

Lots of corporate planes based at BFI, I can think of 25 off the top of my head, and there is many more because the hangars get crowded when they are all home!
BMW pilot is pretty close on the big companies here. Costco have their GV and Challenger, Paul Allen has his 757, GIV, twin otter, challenger, MD Explorer, an alphajet and an F5 in his hangar, Gates has a Global and a Challenger, Starbucks the same, Goeduck Aviation has a PC12 and a Challenger I think, Executive Flight is always rotating their Lear 35s (med flights), Galvin Flying has 2 King Air 200s, a Westwind, a Challenger, and a Lear 60, Mad Dog has a Hawker, etc. There are tons more that I don't know the companies of that are based at BFI.
