You would be a major risk because of your experience level, and your company is going to pay very expensive premiums.

I am 99.9999% sure you would be NOT allowed to be a Learjet PIC with 1500 TT and 50 multi-PIC, but I do not know who your insurer is and how much your new employer is willing to pay for premiums.

If the company is willing to hire you then what does it matter. If the other co-captain is insurable on the Lear, just use him a captain for insurance purposes. If they are willing to pay the cost of the policy for you to be captain on the Kingair thats their decision. Don't worry about it.

The ATP age limit should not be an issue. I believe you get the type, with a age restriction on the ATP. Once you turn 23 you go down to the FSDO and they type out a new unrestricted ATP, no big deal.

Sorry bro I highly doubt they will insure you on the King Air , seems like 2000TT with other PIC time in type and school is what they like to see. Im no insurance guy though. Right seat of the lear not a problem at all, PIC though sorry. Im 22 and 6 months 2020TT 1250ME 1150jet 1020PIC. IAI 1124sic type with about 550 in type
G1159sic type 250 in type E-170sic type 300 in type the other 50 or so hours was part 91 in a cl-601. I almost went to fly a westwind 91 same type deal get the pic type co-captain and captain with a contract sic insurance said not until 2500TT. That seems to also be a pretty typical standard for jets. I ended up going to a cargo company flying jets around the same size and even flying boxes they want no less than 2300TT with at least 500 in type. I could be wrong though like I said im not an insurance salesman but I have dealt with the same thing. Honestly I consider myself a fairly competent pilot and I still question if i am 100% ready to be a jet captain. Its tremendous responsibility to have those people lives in your hands. I dont mind one bit playing gear b*tch for another 500 or more hours. Thats just me though. Anyway you never know you may be able to get something worked out and that would be awesome keep us posted I would like to know how it works out. Good luck
