Default Averitt Air

On WFFF, there was a posting today for an open position as a flight officer with Averitt in Memphis, Tennessee. What surprised me was the minimum flight time. Here is the list of minimum requirements from WFFF:
1. 23 years of age
2. High School Diploma or GED
3. Minimum of 500 hours total time (time may vary if in combination with turbine and high density flying time)
4. Hold a current FAA 2nd Class Medical Certificate
5. No suspensions or revocations of pilot certificate within the past 5 years
6. No convictions for reckless driving within the past 5 years
7. No convictions for DUI within the past 5 years
8. No suspensions or revocations within the past 5 years
9. No more than 2 moving violations within past 3 years
10. Not currently involved in any pending court action that would disqualify him/her from employment
11. No felony convictions

I found a thread about Averitt from December of '06, but there isn't much out there as of late. Any info on them or why their minimums are so low?

I didn't know they had anything in Memphis. What equipment is the job posting for?

Oops, my bad. It's Nashville, not Memphis. It doesn't list what type of equipment though. Hopefully somebody out there can fill us in.

It's probably just a typo. They want an ATP just for an FO position. It should probably read 5000 hours. Why don't you just call and ask?
