westwind 2 pay

Anyone know what a part 91 captain pay should be expected on a westwind 2? I tried looking on the NBAA website and couldn't find anything. Thanks for the help

June, 2007 Pro Pilot average is $83K.

The NBAA does not list salaries per se, you have to purchase the Benchmark Compensation Survey, which is very detailed (516 pages) and costs $$$.

I agree with you Geo....I have the 2007 AvCrew.com survey myself and from what I remember 83-85K sounds about right for an average for a medium jet...just a quick point about the NBAA salary survey-- I can't remember exactly how I did it but if you do a little surfing on the net you can find it ! ... I remember having to scroll down a whole lotta pages before I got to the Turbo Commander part...but I know it's there....I think I went on Google....if you fellas give me a day or two I'll look it up at home and post the exact amount in a day or two...hope this helps..

6 years ago I left a Westwind job in the NYMetro area at 115K. Our range was 75K for a brand new guy to about 125K for the guy running the account.

Good Luck!!

Just left the Westwind, working in the L.A. Area. The going starting rate for a captain in the area was between 65,000 and 85,000 a year. That's 135 though. May be different 91 or if you manage the aircraft.

Payscale.com (man that website is a pain in the a$$ to navigate through)shows mid 60s-high 70s. Looks like you are in So Cal, pretty high cost of living out here so hopefully they take that into consideration.
