Default Looking for a King Air job...

I have a buddy that is flying part time in Shreveport, Louisiana as a co-pilot in a King Air. It seems like a great gig that he just stumbled upon. He was pretty low time when it comes to TT.

Just out of curiosity, do any of you know of a gig that pays per trip for a co-pilot in a king air? I have my commercial/multi/instrument ratings, and am looking for a job to keep current and build some experience. I know probably the most common answer would be to hang out at the local airport which I definitely need to do.

I live in northern Kentucky, so I'm in between Cincinnati, OH and Lexington, KY. I am really willing to go anywhere if the opportunity arises. Thanks for any responses!

KIng Air SIC jobs are rare. Contract King Air SIC work is almost non-existant. Sorry.

I have two friends that are flying King Air's now. Both sort of stumbled upon them, and both had low time.

I really should broaden the title. I would love to find an opportunity flying an airplane with more than one engine. It most certainly does not need to be a King Air.

Try this link?

https://www.hrapply.com/pnkinc/AppJo...sp?link=17434#

Hope that helps.

We usually post a handful of new jobs each day on our website, some found other places, some just ours..we dont mind sharing jobs here, etc..the $10/yr we charge to view jobs and post is really to keep the site up and keep trolls away - its no money maker...The networking aspect on the forums is where the value comes in IMHO, just like here or the handful of other corporate sites.

If I see any Ohio low time gigs I will try and pass them along right here also!

Good Luck.

Honestly the Belterra job has to stink unless they pay you a boatload. 24/7 call-outs, yikes! I expect high-turnover rates there?

Anyways, looks like a nice clean site, I'd pay the $10 if I was looking around for a job, definately better than climbto350 IMHO. If ever in need, I'll definately keep it in my favorites, and I already know a guy I'm going to point your direction.

As far as SIC in King-Airs, etc... remember that unless it's all part 91, or you get SIC approval, you are not going to legally log SIC time. Infact, I'd only log the legs "you" are flying, because it's legit. High-perf, high-alt endorsements better be in your logbook too!!!

Almost, If its 135 then it's legit SIC and you don't need High-P, High-A endorsements to be SIC.

Another way to log it is not as sic time but as dual. If the cap. as an ATP or his MEI than you can log the time that way. I know that it would still be dual time but its better than nothing and SIC time in a single pilot plane is about the same interms of how other companies would look at it (or so ive been told, lol).
