I know some folks at KeyAir and work with a few ex-KeyAir guys.

Its charter. Much of it on-demand. Pay does not seem very good, but it seems like a good bunch of pilots to work with. Some seem to make the transition over to the Gulfstreams, some dont...

Hard to really categorize it IMO - coming from a Regional it may seem good, coming from other parts of corporate it may be very low end. Some ideas? - There are hawker guys making 55K, there are Gulfstream guys making 140K. The quality of Health Benefits seemed like a big complaint.

Best suggestion, of course, is to try and get an interview and see for yourself!

Good Luck!

Here is a recent (week or so) opening posted on our WEBSITE for KeyAir looking for Hawker pilots in Oxford KOXC.

Hope that helps...

Yes they do.

I can't imagine any places DONT send you to FSI or CAE for training these days....and if they didn't? - I dont think I would want to work there.

Good Luck!

Gentlemen,

I have never worked for Key Air. But I can tell you that I have known the DO, Danny Olmstead, for over 20 years now. We have worked together at two other companies.

He left a position at USAirways to work for Key Air

Danny is a top shelf individual who holds the highest standards in his professional and personal relationships. I can tell you honestly, that if Key Air has hired him then they look for capable management and are able to attract the best. And, I can also say that if Danny stayed there like he has. I can bet money that Key Air is a place that anyone would like to work for.

Please remember that there was a time when names like, NetJets, FedEx, and Southwest were all unknowns that someone else walked away from for whatever reason. Is Key Air the same? Who knows. But do your homework before you say no.

Best,

IW

Just talked to them and they still have Hawker positions open at KOXC.... requirements are 4000TT for captain and 3000TT for FO, I'm not close to that so I didn't ask for any additional info but they seemed very friendly and professional.
