Corporate Internships?

Anyone know of any good summer internships with a corporate aviation department? I am a aviation management junior with my CFI looking for some good industry experience. Thanks in advance

Where are you going to school? Where is home?

Check out places like netjets or citationshares that are larger companies, a lot of corporate flight departments are really small and might not have oppurtunities for interns unless you know somebody and they might be able to create a position for you.

Go to school at Florida Tech, but home is near Boston. It would be nice to have something close to home, but I am willing to travel anywhere if the opportunity is worth it

Off the top of my head...The Limited, Coca-Cola, IBM, and United Technologies have had interns in the past, if not currently.

Your school probably can help you out... If they have an aviation department (I'm assuming because of the major), then they may have info on who does summer internships.

I got my BS degree in Aviation Management as well and completed my internship with Evergreen out in McMinnville OR. They pay pretty well and you can get experience in the airline, sales, admin, charter, or helicopter areas.

I had a great time living in Mr. Smiths vineyard for the summer with Mt Hood visible behind my house. One of the most beautiful parts of the country also.
