I just read that BoA was seeking government help in its acquistion of Merrill. According to Barney Frank, if you seek government help you must liquidate all owned and leased aircraft. What will happen there???

The part of the legislation that would have required companies receiving bailout money to divest themselves of aircraft was deleted. Good news.

Thank goodness. It's not like you can sell a GV overnight -- not in this economy!

Can we cut out the pay raise for Congress for the next few years? That will get some cash into the Treasury. Those folks are just too dumb to earn it. MAYBE the Congress would be willing to pay the government for the opportunity to sit in the House or Senate...:D
