Friend of mine works there and is trying to help me get on board. He said earliest they may run a class is end of March, but that was just an educated guess. Other than that I haven't heard too much. Seems a good company to work for if you don't mind the call out stuff, only downfall seems to be you kinda have to move to south FL as they really frown on commuting. Heard lots of bad about the southern end of the state.

If we're talking Miami Air with the 737s, then 'Corporate' is not where the thread belongs. I've ridden them to SW Asia. Obviously there could another one...

I'm refering to the one with 737s. It's the only Miami Air I've heard of.

Lots of military charters and sports teams. The Big 10 has an agreement with them for football charters (-800's). They do Professional sports team charters too, which are on -400's.

Flying 737's
Doing ALOT of charter work. Gov't and sports.
Pay isnt to much to talk about.
I do believe they will be asking for time in type. (rumor)
Long trips with little down time in a month.

Ineffective union.
Good planes.
Good Mx.
Low pay.
Training bond.
Good trips.
Descent layovers.
You will see parts of the world you will never see flying a commuter.
Stay out of the politics and you 'll do OK.

Not required... but preferred time on aircraft with an FMS, V-NAV and L-NAV.

Hi!

I was at MIA job fair, and don't require type.

They like some glass experience. I told him about my J-41 stuff, and he wrote "EFIS" on my resume.

He didn't say when they would be hiring-did say live or relocate there.
