Ussually OK money depending on experience. In a part 91 opp typically fly 100-300 hours per year. I fly about 300. I have a fixed schedual and work 2 days per week with just a handful of weekends per year. Some opps will not have a schedual.

As for stability, depends on the opp- cheap owners, MX, and the airplane being sold could have you job hoping. But there are long stable jobs out there.

Its a very tight nit community- every corporate/private job I've had I was referred internally. You have to be very diplomatic in dealing with people, even when their a pain in the as$.

Some opps will call for you to arrange details like, transportaion, hotels, catering, mx schedual, and a wide range of customer service issuse.

As for equipment, King Air, Beachjet, Hawker and Citation experience and types will always keep you employed.

Nice plane, but that doesn't mean that flying it is the best job...

I would think Paul Allen's 757 would be a good job. A BBJ would have to rate up there also.

I just looked at the Cessna Sovereign, what an amazing aircraft! That thing has the performance us jet jockeys (especially if you fly old equip like me) dream about!

My personal opinion is anything that has a APU, transcontinential range, and was build after 1985. The only aircraft that rubs me the wrong way is the G200. Why Gulfstream threw that plane together, I'll probably never understand.

I would say the Global XRS.
G550 is nice, but the Global has more cockpit (and cabin) space. You can get in and out of your seat at ease, and although it lacks the planeview, is still has neat gadgets in it.
Not to mention it flies faster. (.89~)

History will write that the G4 was the most productive corporate aircraft ever built.
