Too many variables...

Where would you be based?

Experience Level?

Do you have an A&P license also?

Perfect, that is all i needed. I appreciate it. Would the pay change if it were operated 91 and 135?

Yes, it goes down for 135.

From ProPilot:

Legacy Captain

Low: $74,000
High: $95,000
Average: $87,000

Those #s seem pretty low -- AvCrew has many variables and ranges listed but the average figures ran from 115K to 140K for that size aircraft depending on ops. Aviation Week Business and Commercial Aviation Magazine 2009 Operations Planning Guide has it averaged at 111K. If you getting an average of $87K you are not making enough for that size aircraft.

Part 135 almost always pays less than Part 91...

And like it or not, having THOUSANDS of airline pilots qualified to fly the Legacy probably doesn't do much to improve its pay numbers to near its peers in the large-cabin class simply because of supply-and-demand.

I would use the Avcrew #s or Aviation Week - the 135 ops on AvCrew were actually higher. The nice thing about the AvCrew survey is that they give you the sample size so you can get an idea. I am sure that regional pilots have filtered in the Legacy mix which probably has not helped that airframe. In any case you should shoot to get paid what your worth.

Perfect, Thanks.
