Boeing 737 (BBJ)/ Boeing 757
 

I'm an aviation student who has been doing some research on the costs associated with storing a bigger sized corporate aircraft.

Has anyone here flown a BBJ, 757 or know the costs associated with them?

More specifically, I was wondering how much it costs to have them parked at an FBO on the ramp vs put into a hangar for the night, or how much it costs in rent to have them based at an FBO that isn't owned by the corporation who owns the planes

last time I paid the parking fee for the B737 I fly it was $450 for the night. That was last week in CLT. Other than that I don't know anything. why not call the fbo you want to park it at.

I'd imagine few FBO hangars can handle 737-sized aircraft.

As hoover said, each FBO has different pricing for ramp and overnight fees.

Worked for an operator that had 2 757's while I was there. We hangared them while they were at home and that was it. There are very few (if any) FBOs that would invest the money required to house an a/c of that size on an occasional basis. As far as ramp/parking fees thats all over the board and mostly depends on location to a major metropolitan area where the price goes up just like everything else. That size aircraft is engineered to sit outside, needing only a wash and brightwork done if the principal is rich enough to have the inlets/leading edges polished and maintained.
