King Air 200/350 Salary Bay Area

Hey Guys,
I am wondering what a competitive Salary is to manage/fly a King Air 200/350 in San Francisco Bay area. (Aviation Dept Manager/Sole pilot)Probably based out of Hayward or the like. I have the ProPilot salary Survey but there is too great of range to guess what it would be in such a high cost area.
Thanks!

I don't know where you live but perhaps you are not from the Bay-Area. Yes, it is expensive to live here, 25 to 50% over the US median and commutes can be very difficult. As far as to what you're asking, the pay for 91/135 flying can be all over the place. In general, it is rather lower than you'd expect. It could be good to excellent, that will completely depend on the whims and largess of who owns/operates the plane, but most often I've found it to be on par or frequently less than what you'd get paid where it is significantly cheaper to live. It's still a nice place to live but that's ugly Kali fact #1.

Chaz,
No, I am not from the Bay area but have family that is. East Bay residence is the only place that would be in my price range. What kind of numbers are you talking? The survey states that Low end is $62K with an average of $78K and a high of $94K. It is a small company with large resources that cannot practically operate without an aircraft. CEO wants to get out to the worksites (which are scattered around the Western US) come back and be home in time for dinner sort of thing. Do you have any Idea where an Aviation Dept manager Salary might fall? Anything is better than Regional airline Purgatory.
Feel free to PM me. Thanks in advance!
