Question?
Challenger 300 VS Citation X?
We operate a Citation VII Right now, but looking for a bigger bus...Lol Pros & Cons.... Thanks guys! |
The cl30 has a great cabin and great runway numbers. However an x can be picked up for half of the cost. The x needs long range cruise to make some transcons against winter winds.
Let me know if you need any cl30 performance problems run. I have the books handy. |
When I flew the 650 people said it was the fastest plane between citation service centers. Ours was not so I dont know?
Now I have a friend that operates a 750 and they are always down for maintenance so I could say the same about the 750! We demo triped a CL300 and it was a great plane. Great numbers, lots of room, and best of all its not a cessna! only thing it needs is auto thrust. |

How often do you buy/sell? resale would be a consideration. Do you have a good technician on staff? If its just a couple pilots running the whole show I would not want either aircraft. |
Hawker 4000 yes? :)

Now thats funny! |
The 300 does have "Mach Hold" which is a sort of "poor man's autothrust." ;) We have had great luck with our 300s to the point that the Bombardier support hasn't been an issue.
Also, the lack of IRS and a second pack isn't a huge issue if you are staying domestic most of the time, IMO. |
Thanks guys!
