 Who the deuce does the call sign "Dot Com" belong to?
|
Company is called FLTPLAN, code DCM. That's from a search in an app called airline codes, I have no other info.

The "Dotcom" callsign is the direct result of the Obama Administration stupidly ending the BARR program "to increase transparency" even though it didn't cost them a penny to administer, but operators still not wanting the movements of their aircraft any more traceable by Joe Schmo than those of their automobiles.

Buck's correct. Fltplan.com, for a fee (not sure how much), will assign the "dot com" call sign with random numbers to a corporate flight so that the flight will remain anonymous. It's direct result of the bill (or what ever it was) that was passed forcing all private (read: corporate) flights to be trackable using online site like flightaware.com. Kinda bad if you don't want the competition to follow you.
