Default EJM interview

Does anyone have any info on an ejm interview. This is for a managed aircraft. I believe you interview with cp, do and hr in LUK. I'm looking for questions or point me in the right direction to brush up on. Thanks.

Q: You are on a Europe trip and you get a call that you wife was badly injured in a car crash. What do you do?

A: I get on the next flight home.

Q: Wont that disrupt the aircraft owners trip? and be costly?

I noticed they're doing some hiring.... They had a list of about 8 pilot positions on one job site.

They were looking for a couple of Global guys, one out Teterhole and the other one was out of VNY (I believe)

good luck

Perhaps. But it will be even more costly when the distracted crewmember that should have gone home causes an accident.

I'll do everything I can to ensure continuity of the trip, but my support will be on the way home from the airphone or onboard internet.

Ya its not really a question. I would think they expect you to go home.

Im sure they are looking at your reaction and proposed solution, as aircraft owners sometimes come up with downright absurd requests that we must work through.

"the hell with you Im going home now" and "I will stay with the trip as Im a company guy" are the extremes that would worry people.

Simple stuff like this, but its good practice if one is out interviewing.

I interviewed for a hawker job after my company shut down about 6 months ago. The other pilot at my company also interviewed and he took the job, I declined, too much time away from home for me.

The interview was very straight forward. The only major question was about shooting the ILS and what to do at D.H. if you see the approach lights. My co worker got the same question but he started outside of the FAF with WX that was below mins, they came up so he could shoot the approach, then they went down after he was inside the FAF (continue to D.H. to look). He also got the at DH you see the approach lights what do you do (continue to 100' above touchdown zone elevation looking for runway environment). They were tougher on him than me when we got to the runway environment part. They are looking for the aircraft to be in a normal configuration to land (on speed, configured, can land in the touchdown zone......)

Good luck. My buddy likes EJM, he flies a lot of charter for the managed plane, but that is what the owner wants. I would have taken the job but they could only gurantee me days off of FAR minimum (13 off a quarter, I believe). Good luck.

Went for my interview. I have to say they are real down to earth people over there. Not looking to trick you or make you feel uncomfortable. One tech question. Then just talk about your career. I wish all my interviews can go that way......Hope to work there.

Agreed, they were a very good group of people, and a very nice interview experience.

I would have loved to of worked for them (EJM) but the managed planes owner was not willing to make the investment in the 3rd pilot so that his crews could actualy have a life outside of flying.
