Default Beechcraft 1900 type good for a King Air 350?

Legit questions for you folks still reading this thread. Does a 1900 type cover all King Airs? Would I have to get a 350 type or can I take a differences course?
Thanks in advance for your replies. (not logging time in anything)

No it does not cover all King Airs. It only covers, BE-1900, BE-1900C, BE-1900D, C-12J (Military). This information can be found at http://registry.faa.gov/TypeRatings/

One source to see what can be covered by a differences course is to check the FSB Reports located in the 8900.1.

A 1900 type good for King Air 350?

Here is the situation, I have a 1900 type (SIC required) and was wondering if I would just need differences training for a King Air 350?
Or would I need an additional 350 type rating? What are my options?

TIA.

You need the 300/350 type it used to be the same in the past iirc but not anymore.

Thanks for the info. Figures you would answer my question just as I start a new thread.

Should be a BE-300 on your license when all done.

Not a problem. I was wondering where my response had gone.

In the good ol' days you got both types (BE-1900 & BE-300) in one checkride.

I'm guessing someone (FSI maybe) convinced the FAA that they should become two seperate types which is ridiculous since the systems are identical.
