Default Cj2 afm

First off thanks for the tips on the Corporate Interview thread.

I have a second interview and I need to brush up on some general CJ2 info. I am wondering if there is a PDF of the CJ2 AFM, or if someone has one they can PM me.

I have checked Cessna's website with no luck, and I have also looked at smartcockpit.com. However, must of smartcockpit is vague and only geared towards the CJ3.

Thanks for the help.

You do have to sign up for an account on their system. I just used my spam email account and the link works. After you download, just open your Adobe Acrobat Reader and use it to open the file. Alternatively, you can rename the file AnythingYouWant.pdf and you should be good to go. Good Luck!

SoCal800xp,

Thanks for the link. I went a head and downloaded the AFM. I appreciate your help. This will get me started in the right direction.

However, that is for a CJ2+. I know there aren't huge differences between the CJ2 and 2+, but from what I understand there are differences in the engines, FADEC, and FMS. I'm sure there is more.

Anyone have a straight CJ2(not CJ2+) AFM/POH?

Thanks,

AD

Here's a FSI system manual...don't think I have a straight CJ2 AFM but will look when I get home.

I am curious though...you have not been formally trained on this airframe; why would anybody interviewing you have any expectation of you being familiar with the aircraft???

BoilerUP,

Thanks for the link!

I am just wanting to have a general idea about the CJ2. They don't expect me to know anything about the CJ2. I am wanting to get a general knowledge of the airplane so when they are talking about it I have an idea of what they are talking about.

I also want to get a general idea of the range of a CJ2. In my first interview the interviewee said he thinks the CJ2 can go no stop from Ohio to Montana. From what I've read I don't think it can. But I want to see what the AFM says in light of range.

So really I am just wanting to learn/know some general info.

Regards,

AD

The range is approximately 1600nm. There is a lot of information about the CJ2 on the Internet. I don't think you'll find an AFM though. Cessna is really protective of their copyright material. However, Cessna is happy to sell you an AFM but I suspect that is not what you want to do. You may have already seen this but there are some other links on the page for specifications. Does anyone have the performance section of the AFM for a straight CJ2? My potential employer is throwing out some numbers for the CJ2 that seem like high expectations. Mainly runway take off and landing distances at max gross weight, and range with 1 pilot and 4 pax/ 1 pilot 6 pax. I found some articles about the CJ2 but most of the numbers are different and kind of vague.

Thanks for the help.

P.S. this is for a straight CJ2 not a CJ2+
