Help finding Hangar space

Hey guys this may be in the wrong section but I really didn't know which was best so understand I'm not trying to step on anyone's toes!

My new boss is thinking of moving his mid-size jet to the Houston area (probably Hobby) and he is starting to wonder about permanent hangar space.

He has asked me to do a little digging around and see what I can come up with. I am NOT out to sign a deal, just get a feel for what's out there.

If anyone has any recommendations for companies or people I should contact I'd love to hear about them. Thanks!!

Start calling the fbo's in the area. You can also try the airport managers.

Wilson Air at Hobby will be able to help you out.

Think about options besides HOU to present to the boss. Not exactly sure your exact locale, but Global select at KSGR is a great FBO.

Galaxy FBO at KCXO is the newest FBO in the area. Great new facility with plenty of hangar space, very reasonable prices also.

Check out their construction time-lapse video:The Making of GalaxyFBO

They have a Black Walnut Cafe on the top floor also, part of a chain throughout Houston. Hard facility to beat!

Depending on where the boss's office or home are located, KEFD - Ellington Field is on the south side of town 20 minute drive south of Hobby on I-45, Southwest Services is really easy to work with and building new hangars. If your in the energy corridor on the west side of town either KSGR- Sugarland (not much in the way of hangar space right now) or the new airport just off I-10 west KTME - Houston Executive Airport which seems to be getting lots of growth and the people i know that are based there really like it and it is convenient to the Katy area and west Houston. As for HOU it is very convenient to the downtown area and a good selection of FBO's with newer hangars. Jet Aviation, Wilson Air, Million Air ect.....

Passed through KHOU earlier this week and used Atlantic Aviation.
Good service, great fuel price (several FBOs on the field competing for business), and they're adding hangar space. Good luck!

Millionair KHOU just built a new passenger terminal which is very nice! Supposedly they are adding hangar space as well. Service is average...not poor but not great. A while back our bird has had a hangar rash incident, but they took care of us, got the boss a charter, and repaired our aircraft.

As others have said, check out other airports such as SGR or TME. CXO is a good one too if your boss lives on the north side of town. Where are you relocating from?

The boss has decided the other airports are too far away. We have decided on Hobby as there IS some space available. Thanks for all the info guys! I really appreciate the advice!
