Default Changing Reg. Number in RVSM LOA

I am in the process of changing our registration number and everything is going smoothly, but I'm hung up on the RVSM LOA change. In our RVSM manual there are multiple references to the current N number. Instead of changing every reference and needing the entire manual approved again, I was hoping somebody knows about a shortcut such as a bulletin in the manual that overrides all references to the current N number. I have not had any answers from the local FSDO yet. Has anybody been through this? Thanks!

About 3 years ago we moved our CJ3 from NorCal to SoCal, plus gave it a new N number. I don't recall if it was the N number change or being "based" in a new FSDO region (or both) that necessitated the entire RVSM re-cert, but that's what we had to go through. New manuals, a complete review by the FSDO, and a new LOA. Took about two weeks. Complete bureaucratic BS, but that's "the system". I guess the bottom line is, you'll have to check with your FSDO and see what they say. My guess is with the same FSDO and just an N number change yours will be a simpler process. But it'll be up to the guy at the FSDO and his interpretation of the rules.
