him: You should get one. How much 60 time do you have?
me: Man, you are the only one I know with a lear 60 and I flew it with you for 2 hours
him: yeah, you should get some more time in the 60
me: again, you are the only one I know with a lear.
him: yeah....

I think I have had a similar conversation... more than once... it's kinda frustrating.

Wanted expressions of interest re Falcon 900

I have a client acquiring a Falcon 900 and seeking private pilots.

If you are an experienced pilot (do not necessarily require Falcon 900 flying time), loyal, down-to-earth nature, positive attitude, easy to get along with personality, professional, intelligent, dedicated to improving your professional skills, then please post a response, providing your contact email address.

The aircraft will be based in Australia.

How the hell are you supposed to get time in type if everyone requires you to already have time in type????? Thanks! :)

Yes, the insurance companies want some experience, but I think its the long-range, large cabin bizjets that require that (heavy Falcons, Gulftreams, & Gobals)... used to be 300, but it seems they want 500 now

Keep in mind that on your very first trip in a Falcon 900 you could be flying into a busy, complicated airport like Paris Le Bourget or london Luton. There is no IOE in the corporate world, so they want you to be up to speeed.... If you have a healthy amount of int'l experience they might take that in lieu of time in type...

but I do see your point, I'm sure most of us have a problem with that....

Do you have any further information on this? I don't have any time in type, but have been through initial on the 900EX and have over 100 hours in Falcon 50/900 simulators. I may even have a chance on getting a DA-50 type rating. I'd rather not post my contact details on a public forum. Is there another way to get a hold of you?

Regarding the post made by the OP, I have found that to be that case not just with aviation jobs, but just jobs in general! For instance, just about any job I have seen posted or read about requires "2-3 years experience in XYZ" or "at least 5 years experience in ABC." It seems just about anywhere there are no entry-level jobs. And those entry level jobs really can't be used to get next-level jobs.

What part of Australia? Do you need the right to work in Australia? I'm down. Although a bit concerned about leaving my email on a public forum...

I'm all the above, ATPL licensed (Aus ATP) and have right to work there. I also some experience flying there a couple years ago. Current on-demand freight looking for something, anything!

PM if you'd like to chat.
