How the hell are you supposed to get time in type if everyone requires you to already have time in type????? Thanks! :) Keep in mind that on your very first trip in a Falcon 900 you could be flying into a busy, complicated airport like Paris Le Bourget or london Luton. There is no IOE in the corporate world, so they want you to be up to speeed.... If you have a healthy amount of int'l experience they might take that in lieu of time in type... but I do see your point, I'm sure most of us have a problem with that.... |

Regarding the post made by the OP, I have found that to be that case not just with aviation jobs, but just jobs in general! For instance, just about any job I have seen posted or read about requires "2-3 years experience in XYZ" or "at least 5 years experience in ABC." It seems just about anywhere there are no entry-level jobs. And those entry level jobs really can't be used to get next-level jobs.

I'm all the above, ATPL licensed (Aus ATP) and have right to work there. I also some experience flying there a couple years ago. Current on-demand freight looking for something, anything!
