Recurrent on a budget
I've got one contract client with a CJ2 - and my currency is about to expire (for insurance purposes). Any recommendations on an inexpensive way to get a 61.58? I don't want to spend all the revenue I could potentially earn in the next year staying current.

Remember you get what you pay for. |

I've talked to several, and everyone wants $5K-$6K. The funny part is some are traditional four day recurrent in a sim, while others say they can do it in as little as one day - and one hour in the plane. Same price.
If the price is the same, I'll do the best training I can get! Now if I could only drum up some more business to make it worthwhile! |
What does the owners insurance require?
Some specifically state "formal FAA approved training class" i.e. Flightsafety, simuflite, simcom.... Have you asked operator to help with recurrent? All,half..? |
