Fed Ex corporate

They are advertising for Challenger 300 pilots. Anyone know what they pay?

Not the greatest.....livable? Absolutely.

That being said, flight privileges and being able to live where you want allows one to paint a much rosier picture.

*Subtle hint: Memphis is atrocious

They do allow commuting and, I think one plane is based in PIT. Very stable, decent, if not terrific, deal. Can move to the cargo side.

Yeah.....no.
Used to be after 3 years you would be guaranteed an interview, not a job, just an interview on the cargo side.
Probably not a bad way to get your foot in the door, but now there are no guarantees.

If you don't have a 4 yr degree don't even bother. It says in the description a high school diploma is required but when you go through the web site to apply, if you don't have the degree it won't let you get to the second section. Save yourself the 15 minutes answering the basic questions.

Where are you guys seeing this opening? I have been watching for this for a few months.

Anyone have any info on hiring minimums? Same as the cargo side or slightly different for an F/O position?

Create an indeed account and in the "what" box type in "Corporate Flight Captain". This way you will get notified when a posting comes up in your area. For some reason, Fedex corporate doesn't use the traditional aviation job sites.

FedEx Corporate flying

Friends of mine working there , it's a great corporate flying gig and I understand the top pay for Captains is about $130,000 per year .
The line haul cargo is much tougher flying and unionized , but you can make three times the money as a wide body senior Captain . There is about forty something slots for corporate pilots , the fleet consisting of Canadair Challenger 300's and Canadair Global Express jets .
Living in Memphis , TN not so great ........ Lots of rain and humid days , city crime is rampant and other unsavory issues , best bet is to commute if even from just 60 miles away , lots of FedEx guys and gals don't live in Memphis because of the problems there ........ Good Luck !!! It's a great company to work for ..........
