35 Delta pilots positive?

Optics, huh?
I've been wearing a mask for 2 weeks. Pretty sure the company authorized it awhile ago (although they didn't provide them for domestic crews).
If you or your sweetie pie is sewing enabled, you can make your own (better than nothing.) Amazon is selling "saliva" masks; basically nock offs that aren't approved by the CDC, but will block 70% of the crap out there PLUS keep you from touching your darn face.
IMHO, wear it. Nobody at the airport cares.

As mentioned, they keep the carrier from touching their face, which is 90% of transmission.

Congrats, you guys are in the news!
Another United pilot reported on his ordeal with coronavirus infection, saying that he “always expected to get it, just never expected to catch it on the front end” -and added that his “last trip was TXL on the 7th. No one from the crew is sick.”
He dialed 911 in the morning of March 25,after coughing up blood. But he reports that he was not feeling well since March 16. On March 18 he visited doctor but the doc only gave him “some cough medicine” and Z pack (antibiotics).

So a few weeks ago I had a fever, and sore throat. My daughter also developed a fever and was coughing. I was fortunate enough to get a test due to my previous trip being sea SFO overinights.. It took 12 days to come back negative. During that time I was directed by the doctor to quarantine until the results came back. Apparently this isn't covered under the mou since it wasn't the CDC that directed me to quarantine...

I’m surprised at this news. I figured the brim of the hat, combined with the downward head angle in the terminal, and the multi buttoned coat would have shielded against infection. I blame white gloves not being apart of the uniform as the reason for this.

I'll try the doc. I sent a PDR and talked to the chief pilots office and no dice with either of those.
