Not really sure why this is big news.
Facts are.. this virus IS everywhere.
The idea of social distancing and shutting things down was not to stop the spread but to flatten out the curve. I had read somewhere that it was expect that 70% would be infected. They just didn't want everyone catching it in March/April. Better to have everyone catch it in March/April/May and into June.

Testing positive doesn't mean you're going to get sick.
Getting sick doesn't mean you are going to end up in the hospital (Like me! lol)
Ending up in the hospital doesn't mean you end up dead.. (again, look at me)(Sorry junior guys..)

Yes, I can attest that this virus is a *****!
That being said, there are over 1000 positives in the NYPD alone. Not sure about the FDNY and God knows how many of the doctors & nurses.

I will place a bet.
In two years.. when this is old news and we have had a vaccine for some time.. it will come out that almost the entire population had it in some form or the other.

So again, what is the big deal about Delta and United pilots testing positive?

I got it..... it sucked and I recovered. Most of us have already had it or will get it! Prayers that everyone recovers!

Good grief are we going to get an idiotic count update every 5 minutes with this post?

Yes the numbers will rise but guess what, they're rising for all Americans right now. Please keep the Pilot only numbers to yourself as they're ridiculously lame.

.
Probably, or someone complaining about them. This is what happens to a society when they are “locked down”.

Wow. You made it over a month without recycling this same old “joke.”

check in with Delta Ops next time you are flying...I think the freq is 121.5 but someone from Delta could probably verify this 😉

Every day a little better, thanks!
Will say, currently.. the light infrequent cough I have is probably due to dust/allergies. Now the battle will be to get 2 negative tests AND I want a chest X-Ray to see that mu lungs have healed (sufficiently)

Guys & Gals.. whats crazy about this stupid virus is that there are so many different experience. I (initially) did NOT have CV19 symptoms. Now, I'm home for 12 days, no fever in the last 15 days! But what happens next to me?

I don't know where you live or your doctor's orders. But my health department and my Air Line isn't requiring two 2 negative tests to be released from isolation and being authorized to return to work, school, and normal activities (whatever that is given the new world normal.) The health department and my Air Line are using the CDC protocol...the later of 7 days of onset of symptoms and 72 hours after last symptom while not using fever reducing medication.

A local health care center has been given a grant and authorization to do plasma/antibody therapies. For one to donate plasma they have to comply with the CDC protocol, plus 14 days, then pass a swab test to confirming negative virus shedding.
