Also, thanks for pointing out total excess deaths as yet another measure of why we are undercounting COVID deaths. Look at NY which supposedly is the lowest number, because they had the most number of cases nobody was going out anymore. Look at the numbers now. For this R value to go down quickly below one it has to be a shut down, that’s not a hypothesis it’s a fact that’s why gov officials shut it down. Where we are now is social distancing and wearing masks because we are not ok with shutting it down again. But if we don’t follow that either taking off masks and joining the group parties then this will go on for a long time maybe even few shutdowns and openings again. |
