The White House's resistance to implement a federal testing program is going to drive our economy right into the ground. Furloughs.

Testing IS the key to building passenger confidence to fly again. Until then, our load factors and revenue is going to dwindle.

The guy doesn't want to listen to experts and STILL thinks he knows it all.

Don't pivot. Answer the question. Why do we not have a testing strategy?

My favorite Cessna model is the 206. I fly the A321. Username has nothing to do with the substance of what is going to plague our industry's recovery.

Defense production act. Produce millions of tests. We need to be doing MILLIONS per day. Everyone needs to know if they are carrying and spreading it while asymptomatic. Trump has had MONTHS to take this seriously. The entire country is pleading for tests and he is trying to pass the buck.

Last time I checked airlines fly over state borders. What is the point of flying from one state with a weak program to another state working hard to get it done? Viruses dont respect state borders.

Ah yes, the governmental magic wand that if some unelected bureaucrat were in charge that issues like development, testing, accuracy, production, and distribution wouldn’t matter, because the government would just solve all our problems.

I mean, too bad the government didn’t nationalize Boeing a while back because then we would’ve never had to deal with 787 battery issues nor MCAS. Heck, I should’ve never moved beyond flipping burgers 20 years ago and just waited for Comrade Bernie to declare the new Socialist Utopia and finally gotten my $15/hour!

It’s funny how everyone critical of Trump for being an authoritarian are now clamoring for Trump to be more authoritarian, especially in the absence of any data that it would make any difference.

So.....everyone in the US take a test. What test you want them to take?

This isn’t about us taking a test to show whether we are positive or negative with Covid-19. It’s about whether we have had it and have the anti-body.

Doing the +/- testing won’t change anything at this point except make the stats reflect the sub .05% mortality rate this virus has caused. What you could ask for is seeing how many people have had this and overcome it. Then we can see about herd immunity and GTF back to work.

Dr Faucci needs to go. He is a fear monger and he and others scared the holy shat out of Trump in the beginning which led to this shutdown. Now Trump has been backed into a corner on what is right and wrong. No matter what he does it’s wrong.

Take a nice read on the article about NYC and the public transportation and why NYC metro area became the hot spot it did.
