Interesting Poll. The only activities more than 40% of respondents said they'd engage in if restrictions were lifted are: (note that "fly on an airplane" only came in at 27%)
1. Eating at a restaurant;
2. Attend a Funeral
3. Get a Haircut
4. Go to the Dentist
5. Eat at a friend's house

My community looks like it’s moving towards normalcy relatively quickly. I think as more people get out, others will follow. All of this UNLESS we do start seeing increased rate of deaths.

Parts of Walt Disney World in Orlando are already announced to re-open on May 20th. Disney got caught with their pants down just like the airlines, they’re itching to re-open too.
BUT! It’s a simple issue for them. 25/50% capacity while paying 100% employees to operate, power/bills etc. And blame in rising infections will be put on them. Even re-opening would be (To make a Disney reference) a Darth Vader Choke Hold.

Sounds like a perfect time to open everything up fully. Based on those polls, many won't leave. Some will. Those "some" will create a natural social distance being few as it is. Then slowly we can get more people to come out once they see it's not all Armageddon like it's been hyped up to be (and yes, it's been hyped). 1/3 of all deaths have been in nursing home residents+workers. And even though Africa Americans only make up 15% of the population, they represent 60% of the overall fatalities in this country from Covid. It's time to stop punishing the entire country and start protecting what we scientifically see as the most at-risk from Covid and protect them. Let the rest out.
