Vaccine Development Summary

Well they don't work for him so not really an issue. If Biden did it, that would be different. The FDA has IMO slow-rolled both the EUA and regular approval as far as they could get away with it, possibly to CYA bureaucratic butts.

Nice to see the CDC still just shooting from the hip 18 months into this pandemic. Doesn't inspire confidence. If everyone got a booster shot every two months maybe no one would ever get sick. We should try that. If they at least took a reasonable science based approach to previous infections like other advanced nations they might gain a little respect. At this point they seem to just be a joke of an organization. I know people that work there and it seems to be as bad inside as it appears to us on the outside.

Maybe they should approve the vaccines first? Although in fairness they might be concerned with the optics of a "premature" approval... never be able to take that back.

They have already given third booster shots to a few hundred thousand and those are breaking through too.

Especially if the vaccine, you know, fails. Israel is the canary in the coal mine.

As the WSJ verified independently and published today, breakthrough cases are uncommon and they are less severe.
