30-50% of workers would like to keep working working at home 3-5 days per week.
68% of employers need employees in the office at least 3 days per week.

Teleworking is very much here to stay, but it doesn’t exactly mean the complete end to business travel and/or in-person work.
I have a few friends who work for JP Morgan in NYC. They think that promotions will go to those willing to work in the office, travel as necessary, and get extensive in-person interaction with upper management. There’s already a stigma developing against those who choose to work exclusively from home. They think JPM will trend toward a hybrid model, where the expectation is you come in to the office for X days a week and can work from anywhere for Y days. Anecdotal? Absolutely.

this is totally not up to any lawyer and whether he or she thinks an important only by stip of both parties and for hearing judicial approval. Also you better believe as soon as the bench thinks it is safe they will do live as the norm. Judges are not going to willingly shrink the judiciary because of zoom
There was recently a case in (I think) MI where a witness testifying on zoom was acting unusually and shifting her eyes back and forth off camera and back. The prosecution called the police and had them go to the witness' house where they found the defendant off camera intimidating the witness.
Court will be back in session ASAP.

Managers and execs are extremely leery of wholesale telework, and of course their opinion is the one that counts. Comments from some execs...
"remote work doesn’t work well for those who want to hustle.”
“an aberration that we are going to correct as soon as possible.”
"employees who are “uber-ly engaged” with their companies would want to go to the office at least two-thirds of the time."
" business leaders had a strong incentive to change the status of staffers who are rarely in the office from full-time to contractor"
Paywall alert!
