Meaningless comparison.

So the MAJORITY of the country is radical left? That seems a bit counter-intuitive.

What did the polls say? Biden in a landslide while gaining a whole bunch of seats in the House and taking the Senate. None of that happened. Barely won the election, only gained a few seats in the House, and not taking the majority in the Senate. So yes, the radical left definitely had a negative impact on the election for the Democrats. You pushed enough swing voters to pick the lessor of two evils and that is Trump and a Republican slate over the policies of the radical left.

I know, thread drift. Let’s get back on target, preferably with better news tomorrow.
Why is it up in smoke I thought the dems were all about that before?

Are you sure the radical right didn't disenfranchise enough swing voters to put Biden in the White House?

I think the operative point here is that both parties are wearing their fringe element on an anchor chain around their necks while most Americans would like to operate with both mains straddling centerline. The primary process has made it impossible for mainstream views to win nominations.

I think this election was going to a Democrat no matter what. It was even closer than what I expected. The actions and talk of the radical left in 2020 made the election a lot closer whether you like it or not.

If there was a strong moderate democrate running in place of Biden who picked a radical running mate and seems to be told what to do/say the Democrats take the presidency by 10 points and the Senate too.

The 11-8 numbers are promising. I think the post election trepidation is subsiding. It will be interesting now that Pfizer vaccine has been announced 90% effective. Distribution should be right around the corner. Our numbers will continue to climb.

The numbers actually suggest (and support) far more people voting against Trump, but still
voting for Republican Senate and House members.

In my circle, the Republican friends despise him and behavior. Voted Biden (or my gal Jo) and then voted Republican elsewhere on the ballot.
