TSA Numbers

It always was. Contact tracing isn’t easy even with STDs. And most people even know the names of everybody they are screwing. How many of the people you got within six feet of yesterday are strangers who you probably have never seen before and may never see again? Especially if you use any form of mass transit.

11-14/Saturday: 38.6%
40% level remains the ceiling, except for recents of:
11-08: 41.3%
10-29: 42.7%
09-04: 44.1% Labor Day Weekend
09-03: 41.6%. Labor Day weekend
08-30: 41.8%
Aside from holidays we are not seeing huge numbers return. October was mostly 35-40%. No huge spike due to business travel.
Lets see what Thanksgiving week looks like.

One plus is every news outlet in the country is allocating it seems 70% of their air time to the FULL BLOWN PANDEMIC CRISIS! With that, we haven’t seen the cliff like we did this summer. While it may not be the gains we want to see, we haven’t seen it fall off to 20% either.
Thanksgiving is a good indicator. Prime Minister of Panic Fauci is saying it’s cancelled and we should all use zoom. I believe people have enough personal data and experience now where for the most part they simply don’t care. Our example is we are hosting a smaller gathering of 12-14. We realize that the demographic attending is of such low risk that we see no reason to not gather as a family. Even if we all tested positive, the stats show that half of us would be asymptomatic, 25% would present very mild symptoms for a few days and the last 25% may be laying low for a week. Pre Covid this was our reality all winter with flu and pneumonia (I’d rather get Covid.) I don’t believe our small sample size is unique and think a decent portion of the nation feels similar.

We haven't seen the worst of this yet. It's not expected to peak until MID-JANUARY. Thousands of dead per day for months. It's going to be the worst thing this country's faced in a long long time. And you'd rather get COVID. K, buddy. Death rates will soar when hospitals hit capacity because even though we've got treatments, there's no way these people will be able to receive them.
You curse Fauci for hurting the economy, but he's one of the few people of this administration who's giving it straight. (don't bring up the mask thing, it's old news)
I'm blown away that rather than attack the virus, you're counting on apathy to save you. It won't happen.

I thought this was all going to go away on November 4th? What gives? Maybe people are calling it a full blown pandemic crisis because it actually IS a FULL BLOWN PANDEMIC CRISIS? Cases have doubled in the last 2 weeks - nationwide this time. (yes cases do count, don't bother) For you to sit back rest on your "personal data and experience" about what is ahead of us is absolutely fool hardy. And honestly it makes me question your risk assessment in the flight deck.
