54.8% of same day 2020
+10% change past 7 days to previous 7 days
+6% change compared to same day previous week

The numbers are remaining surprisingly strong. It will be interesting to see what this week shows. There will obviously be a post holiday season drop off, but by how much that drop off will be should be interesting.

What happens in March. Will this tsa page compare 2021 vs 2020 or 2021 vs 2019? Cause if it’s the former all the numbers are going to look great!

It’s the former, so those numbers will really be all over the place. It will still have the 2020 v 2019 numbers, but it will take some scrolling.

By March, if we are not able to see meaningful improvements at the absolute number scale, it will confirm that this moronic self inflicted devastation is continuing - and maybe we can stop blaming DJT for causing the 'Rona

And, yes, I would hope the YOY comparison would no longer have to be analyzed for glimmers of hope.

That said, I do have all the numbers in a spreadsheet back to March 1, 2020 - so I can do the comparison directly.

It'll take some work to match up the day of week but my hope is the TSA will continue to report daily numbers at the very least and perhaps 2019 and 2020 numbers along with 2021 daily numbers.
