You're being disingenuous here. You know that wasn't the point of his post. There are a myriad of factors that contribute to each country's outcome. Combining them all into one number is beyond silly, and America should absolutely not be basing its Covid policies on what's happening in other parts of the world. Further, the CDC (the topic that you responded to with the 3MM comment) is an American government institution. Their doom and gloom has always been centered around only America.

Specifically, your 3MM comment was a response to someone referencing the CDC, which is an American entity. America can be aware of what's going on in other parts of the world without creating policies based on what's happening elsewhere. Population density, demographics, and overall health of a population are all key factors when discussing Covid outcomes. It would be silly to compare the United States to India, for example. The two countries are polar opposites in almost every metric. That's why I think the "3MM people have died" comment is off base. What we do here doesn't have any impact on whether or not someone in India dies from Covid.
