Perhaps we will soon start to see a return to the TATL markets:

Europe is a completely different story. Landed in Madrid yesterday. The radio was dead and there are well over 150 airliners parked there.

Ryan Air. Iberia. LOTS of British Airways. And another half dozen airlines nobody in the US has ever heard of. It is going to be a longer, slower climb across the pond.

Same weekday in 2019 for 6/20/21 would have been either 6/16 or 6/23. Any of you know which date of the two is being used?

4 of the last five days have been over 2m. Consistently hitting mid 70s for comparison to 2019, and tracking the seasonal increases.

One can only wonder how much of what’s left was actually support of international stuff - either getting people to and from the hubs where they would depart for overseas or the harbors from which they would set sail for their cruises. When even Canada isn’t opening their borders yet, further domestic recovery may ultimately depend upon vaccination program effectiveness which we have little control over in other countries.

Good question about how domestic gap is feeding international.

On a simpler level, how much of the gap is domestic and how much is international PAX? Stated differently, if PAX loads are 75% of the 2019 levels, how much of that 25% gap is PAX load difference on domestic flights and how much is on international flights?

Keep in mind we may be closer to "normal" than we think. Places like NYC have a lot of INTL that never touches a US Major/LCC on the whole trip.

Maybe, but a whole lot more population doesn’t live in hubs than does. That’s why hubs have spokes.
