In regards to the original topic, lockdowns do nothing. They didn't work before, they won't work this time. Keeping those that are healthy and not at a high risk of mortality from being able to function and keep our country going is nonsense. All that will happen is unemployment will go back up to double digits from the 6.9% it is at as of Oct 2020, businesses will close, and the country will go into an actual depression.

Biden doesn’t have to come out of his basement for a while. He crushed Trump and his boat rallies from his basement, while wearing slippers, so I’m guessing, with an assembled team of experts, he can right the ship. Sadly, he’ll be inheriting 250,000 cases a week or more, but I expect there’ll at least be a cogent strategy. I mean, if you don’t consider warm weather, injecting bleach, or sunbathing a way to defeat a pandemic.
