Silver Lining: No Flu?
Being at least somewhat less contagious than covid, the flu may be severely limited by anti-covid measures...

I've noticed a lot fewer sick people out and about these days. From airports to grocery stores. Three obvious reasons:
1) More public shaming for being out while sick (and fewer repercussions from employers.)
2) People have learned to be smarter when it comes to hygiene and germs.
3) Businesses have been reducing touchpoints.
I think all of these will continue for a few years, and then slowly fade away.
