COVID and Cognitive Impairment?
I think this article is chumming the hysteria pool, but some Docs may be worried that covid could produce long-term cognitive impairment and increase the risk of alzheimers.
Obviously going to need some actual research on that before reaching any conclusions...

Agreed on the long term effects since it hasn't even been 2 years since it's been discovered. I still wouldn't chance anything such as purposefully going into a high risk area. As for the vaccine, I'm all for it since the data is showing that it does help with very minimal setbacks

Would be different if it was a chronic pharma that you're going to take daily for years.

Who knew so many airline pilots were board-certified doctors, holders of post-doctoral degrees in virology, statistics, public health.

Vaccine biochemistry plays out very quickly (weeks). With billions of recipients 6+ months into this, we've seen everything we're going to see from the vaccine. That's just basic bio science.

That's where the vaccines have fortunately been holding up well... preventing severe covid and turning it into just a nuisance. For those vaccinated.
And the ultimate measure of success: WSJ reports GDP just exceeded pre-pandemic levels, so not too many people are hiding under their beds with cases of hoarded TP anymore.

They're not yet sure how contagious the delta variant is in "breakthrough" cases...

But it appears that vaccinated people are at least slightly more likely to spread delta than other versions of the bug.
