I just ordered some quercetin on amazon. Other than that been hitting the vitamin D3 capsules and tons of vitamin C.
30mg/day works great for preventing colds, been doing that for years. Not sure what the mechanism is, or how it would work with covid.

I get how it works but I am way too much of a simpleton to explain. He breaks it down in the first 5 minutes.

That makes some sense. I get a decent amount of anti-oxidants via diet, if not supplements.

Get antibacterial/viral sinus sprays. Studies have shown the virus concentrates in the nose where the ACE2 receptors are, that’s why most lose their sense of smell. Keeping the sinuses clean will help with viral loads.

Vitamin D has a profound effect on covid mortality rate, and a moderate effect on Rt. At this point, at least half, but probably more like 80% of the deaths from Covid, are from vitamin D deficiency.

But a caution... correlation is not always causation. I bet if you compared healthy, active people with unhealthy, inactive people you might find the active folks have better vitamin D levels. That doesn't mean vitamin D causes exercise...

Thats a good point, but in this case there seems to be a lot of evidence correlating Vitamin D levels
to successful COVID outcomes.

(There are a lot of scientific paper links in the article)

I think too almost all of us are deficient (how it is defined here, anyway) in Vitamin D. And the darker the skin color the less ability we have to attain Vitamin D through sun exposure.

first week is the viral phase. in week one you just feel like crap, but there really isn't much of a chance for anything bad to happen. Week 2 starts the inflammatory phase, and that's when things can go bad. The only real indication that you need treatment is your pulseox. Week 3 is the secondary infection phase, and week 4 is the multi system inflammatory phase.

Doc has me on prednisone now. Hopefully that keeps the inflammation at bay.
