Are you on a layover?

Oh man, that sucks. Definitely something I dread happening. Hopefully you’re somewhere nice with good food and internet!

Chances are even the best food will have no taste in a few days.... On a positive note: I really only felt bad (shivering, aches, etc) for about two days. Then it got better except for the loss of taste/smell and general (mild) fatigue which lasted a few weeks.

In addition to the mild fatigue, the lingering symptoms for me are kind of like a head cold. Runny nose, cough - waking at night coughing.

Still can't smell menthol (Vicks vapor rub) or floral scents

Yeah, the other 2/3rds of the crew is sidelined unfortunately. I’m hoping it’s only like this for a few days. I’m just a whiny baby when it comes to fevers... lol.

The government allowed the use of Ivermectin for Covid yesterday, it's worth a try if you can get some.

I’d jump on that early on in the illness if possible. Ivermectin has been used for COVID outside the US for some time.

The FDA? Their web site still says no.

https://www.fda.gov/animal-veterinar...tended-animals

I believe some governments in Latin America have approved it.
