Even before covid, there was concern about an overdue recession or correction. Maybe covid popped that bubble?

A year ago not many folks would have predicted that a year later there would be both sustained global lockdowns AND that the economy would still be OK.

Which begs the question as to the extent to which macroeconomic conditions across the first world are being supported by stimulus.

Ticks can be dispatched by lighting a match, blowing it out, and touching the glowing head to its rear end. Has anyone tried that with a politician?
