Default Alabama Gov. Ivey to lift mask mandate

Alabama appears to be next in line to lift statewide mask mandates. Texas and Mississippi made announcements earlier this week, and states like Florida and Arkansas have already lifted their statewide mandates.

One more domino falling here, and Alabama has some cool places to visit. Huntsville, Birmingham, and the beautiful Gulf Coast will all be open for business and back to “normal” in short order. Let’s get this normalcy party started. Can’t wait to see Bryant-Denny Stadium filled with 100,000+ maskless people in the Fall.

All the southern states have decided to join in the conspiracy to deflect from the power grid problems in Texas.

Did the Natty Trophy make it’s annual tour of Walmarts yet?

I think they stopped doing that with the new CFB Playoff trophy. But those events made for some great photo ops.

Update: Meemaw has extended the order for 5 more weeks but will not extend it further. Despite the daily cases counts being virtually identical to surrounding states with fewer restrictions, she needs 5 more weeks to "fLaTtEn ThE cUrVe" or whatever the new goal post location is.

Because science. Or something.
